Academic dating is a key part of the FEDE General Assembly. In a friendly and professional setting, our institutions get to know one another and discover new opportunities for collaboration: joint programmes and initiatives, student exchanges, shared research projects, business networking, partnerships, recommending other FEDE institutions to graduating students… the possibilities are endless.
The FEDE’s degree programmes give students and teaching/administrative staff great flexibility in terms of inter-institutional mobility – an essential ingredient for collaboration. Academic dating is an opportunity for the network to build an international, professional educational space.
The academic dating event in Athens in March 2018 led to the following partnerships:
- Ecole Racine (Marrakech, Morocco) – Valise Goldiş Western University of Arad (Arad, Romania). The French-speaking University of Arad hosted the Moroccan teaching teams; educational seminars were organised.
- Cité Formation (Orléans, France) – Griffith College (Dublin, Ireland). The students of Cité Formation, accompanied by their teachers, attended classes in English at Griffith College.
- Ludus Académie (Brussels, Belgium) – Media Sup (Casablanca, Morocco). Establishment of a skills and teaching materials exchange system focused on digital communications.
